7. FAQs

Use iSet for compatible processor and screen configuration, including cabinet layout and display adjustments. LEDVISION is a legacy playback option; the available setup functions depend on the release and may use the separate LEDSetting application. PlayerMaster supports program scheduling and control of compatible Colorlight players over a LAN or the Internet. Choose the application specified for your hardware and workflow.

Support depends on the application and version. This page lists separate Windows and macOS packages for iSet and ColorAdept; a Windows installer cannot be used as a macOS package. Mobile applications have their own Android, HarmonyOS or iOS downloads. Check the selected package and release notes for your operating system and controller. Do not assume every Colorlight application supports every platform.

As checked on September 8, 2026, Colorlight labels LEDVISION as discontinued in its software download catalogue. The LEDVISION downloads here are retained for existing installations and compatible legacy workflows. Older iSet and PlayerMaster releases are also retained for maintenance. Before changing an established system, confirm the supported software with your supplier and keep the current installer and configuration backup.

Match the firmware to the exact controller or receiving-card model, PCB revision and applicable hardware variant. Entries marked GD, ST, PWM, Normal or LS0allDA must not be treated as interchangeable. Use the package and upgrade tool specified for that hardware, back up screen parameters and keep power and data connections stable during the update. A PC software installer is not controller firmware.

Save the screen configuration, receiving-card parameters, cabinet connection map, calibration data where applicable, and playback projects or schedules. Keep the working installer and record the current software and firmware versions. Test changes during a maintenance window, then verify mapping, color, brightness and playback before returning the display to service.

The software and controller sections on this page include version-labelled manuals and specifications. The three videos below the firmware section cover iSet, configuring a new Colorlight control system and indoor LEDVISION setup. Use the instructions that match your software release and hardware; a manual for an older version may not describe every feature in a newer installer.
